NIACC's 41,156 square foot recreation center provides athletes with a place to practice indoors. The suspended walking track with activity areas located underneath give all students plenty of options for recreational activities. The facility also houses athletic offices and three classrooms which can be used for coaching clinics for area coaches. Whether playing basketball or running on the track, students and staff love the new recreation center.

Henkel Construction Company acted as general contractor on this modern computer lab and processing center at Iowa State University. Safety was a primary concern as the project involved a very deep excavation, two-level basement, and was constructed in the center of a bustling campus with school in session.

As negotiated general contractor, Henkel teamed with Waldorf College and designers to complete this state of the art library on time and within budget. Located at the main entry point at Waldorf, the two-story library is fully wireless and includes generous study areas and expanded reference space. With a new coffee shop the library has become a primary waypoint for students traveling between classes.

Clear Creek Elementary houses grades three, four and five and includes a full gymnasium, food service and dining areas and a brand new play ground. Henkel led this very successful project as general contractor.
