Midwest Grain Processors
When Midwest Grain Processors (MGP), in Lakota, Iowa expanded production capacity from 50 million gallons per year to 100 million gallons, Lurgi, PSI was chosen to provide process design and overall construction management. Lurgi then turned to Henkel for the foundations including tank foundations and structural pipe support work required to complete the expansion. Henkel crews worked effectively through the winter on this project to help maintain the project schedule.

Freedom Fuels Bio-Diesel
At the new Freedom Fuels bio-diesel plant in Mason City, Iowa, Henkel Construction crews completed all of the concrete caissons and caps, grade beam foundations, structural concrete floors and trench drains at grade, and elevated concrete floors in the building. Henkel also completed the truck unloading and rail slabs as well as pipe racks and supports outside the building.

Golden Grain Ethanol
When Golden Grain started their operations in Mason City, Iowa, Henkel Construction teamed with Accord Architecture to deliver the entire dry side of the operation on a Design-Build basis. Henkel and Accord work included the concrete grain storage silos, loading, unloading, and distiller dried grain (DDG) buildings. The project also included truck and rail scales including a rail car scale over the unloading pit, all pre-engineered steel buildings, pits, tunnels, drags, dust removal and dry milling equipment.

Cargill Bio-Diesel
